David Oyelowo was born in Oxford, England. In his native England he is very well known for his acting roles and his historic portrayal in 2000 as Henry VI. He was the first black actor to play an English monarch for the Royal Shakespeare company. American audiences will remember him in the Oscar nominated, The Last King of Scotland. David is currently shooting the George Lucas film "Red Tails".
